Slottstein from Castle Stones - exclusive, handmade stone tiles inspired by the Renaissance, ancient ruins and monumental surroundings. Light, thin and full of character.
«The greatest strength of an innovative product with an old soul lies in the expression created through the right choice of materials.» Castle Stones are pressed and shaped in an innovative marble cement where both the look and the texture match natural stone - but without natural stone's weight and build height.
Well suited to older apartments and monumental buildings where weight is a real constraint.
Minimal build height - easy to integrate against existing floors and transitions.
With the right preparation they can be laid on wooden floors, used as wall tiles, outdoors and as facade cladding.
Produced in innovative marble cement with the look and texture of natural stone.

The flagship series with over 130 shapes and sizes, from 28 × 31 cm to 90 × 132 cm. A living, irregular floor with deep historical character.

Castle Stones are extremely light and only 6-8 mm thin. That makes them especially well suited to older apartments and monumental buildings where weight and build height are a real constraint - and they are easy to handle during transport, cutting and laying.
With the right preparation they can also be laid on wooden floors and used as wall tiles - a flexibility ordinary natural stone rarely offers.

With marble cement, Castle Stones develops structures for a range of purposes - indoors on floors and walls, outdoors, in 3D shapes and as facade cladding. What they all share is the look of real stone.
Explore all ten series - Dallen, Dallen Paris, Loft, Bricks, Big Bricks, Oak Bricks, French Bricks, Cobble Stones, Terra Stones and Versailles - at Castle Stones.

We use slottstein where a room needs weight and soul - around fireplace walls, in entrances, on selected floors and as a character-defining facade element. Its low weight makes it safe to use even in the older buildings we restore.
As with everything we do, slottstein is planned together with the rest - tiles, materials and lighting - with one point of contact coordinating from material selection to finished installation in a restoration or full renovation.
We are a member of Ethical Trade Norway and select only suppliers who meet strict standards for responsible production and sustainability. Every project we take on is grounded in that commitment - from the first choice of materials to final handover.
