Ethical trade and responsible supply chains
VBKU works with selected materials and suppliers. We aim to develop long-term supplier relationships in which quality, transparency and responsible business practices form part of our decisions.
Through membership of Ethical Trade Norway (Etisk handel Norge), we have a framework for systematic work on responsible sourcing. This includes identifying risks, asking relevant questions and following up conditions in the supply chain over time.
What this means in practice
We intend to improve our understanding of where our products and materials come from, maintain dialogue with suppliers and develop routines for addressing risks relating to human rights, working conditions, the environment and business ethics.
This is ongoing work. Membership is not a product certification or a guarantee that every supplier has been audited or approved.
